माजी आमदार प्रा. शरद पाटील यांचा स्मृतिदिन: 27/12/2024

जनता दल निधर्मी पक्षाचे माजी प्रदेशाध्यक्ष आणि मिरज विधानसभा मतदारसंघाचे माजी आमदार प्रा. शरद पाटील यांचा स्मृतिदिन . प्रा. शरद पाटील यांनी गेल्या ५५ वर्षांमध्ये सामाजिक, राजकीय आणि शैक्षणिक क्षेत्रात योगदान दिलं होतं. शरद पाटील यांनी मिरज विधानसभा मतदारसंघाचं दोन वेळा प्रतिनिधित्व केलं. तर, पुणे पदवीधर मतदारसंघातून ते एकदा विजयी झाले होते.

प्रा. शरद पाटील हे जनता दलाच्या तिकिटावर महाराष्ट्राच्या विधानसभेत मिरज विधानसभा मतदारसंघातून १९९० आणि १९९५ मध्ये विजयी झाले होते. या दोन टर्ममध्ये त्यांनी मिरज विधानसभा मतदारसंघाच्या प्रश्नांना वाचा फोडली. यानंतर विधानपरिषदेच्या पुणे पदवीधर मतदारसंघातून शरद पाटील यांनी निवडणूक लढवली. २००२ मध्ये झालेल्या पुणे पदवीधर मतदारसंघाच्या निवडणुकीत शरद पाटील यांनी भाजपचे दिग्गज नेते प्रकाश जावडेकर यांना पराभूत केलं होतं. प्रकाश जावडेकर यांना पराभूत करत ते जाएंट किलर ठरले होते.

देशाचे माजी पंतप्रधान एच.डी. देवेगौडा यांच्या जनता दल निधर्मी पक्षाचे महाराष्ट्राचे प्रदेशाध्यक्ष म्हणून शरद पाटील यांनी काम पाहिलं. ५५ वर्षांपासून सामाजिक, राजकीय आणि शैक्षणिक क्षेत्रात कार्यरत असल्यानं शरद पाटील सामाजिक चळवळींना बळ देण्याचं देखील काम करत होते. प्रा. शरद पाटील हे देशभक्त आर.पी. आण्णा पाटील यांचे सुपुत्र होय. शरद पाटील यांनी वडिलांचा वारसा आपल्या कामातून जपला. सांगली येथील लट्ठे एज्युकेशन सोसायटी मध्ये ४० वर्षे कार्यरत होते. तसेच मिरजेतील यशवंत शिक्षण संस्थेचे प्रमुख म्हणून देखील ते कार्यरत होते.

आर्थिक क्रांतीचा जनक हरपला - माजी पंतप्रधान डॉ. मनमोहन सिंग कालवश:27/12/2024

भारताचे सलग दहा वर्षे पंतप्रधानपद भूषविणारे, जागतिक कीर्तीचे अर्थतज्ज्ञ, भारतातील आर्थिक क्रांतीचे जनक आणि अजातशत्रू राहिलेले काँग्रेस पक्षाचे ज्येष्ठ नेते डॉ. मनमोहन सिंग यांचे गुरुवारी रात्री दिल्लीतील 'एम्स' रुग्णालयात हृदयाच्या आजारपणामुळे निधन झाले. ते ९२ वर्षांचे होते.

हृदयाशी संबंधित आजारामुळे मागील काही दिवसांपासून त्यांची प्रकृती खालावली होती. फुफ्फुसात संसर्ग झाल्याने त्यांना गुरुवारी रात्री आठच्या सुमारास एम्स रुग्णालयाच्या अतिदक्षता विभागात दाखल करण्यात आले. मात्र, त्यांनी जीवनरक्षक प्रणालीला प्रतिसाद देणे बंद केले आणि गुरुवारी रात्री ९.५१ वाजता त्यांची प्राणज्योत वयाच्या ९२ व्या वर्षी 'एम्स' रुग्णालयात निधन. काँग्रेस पक्षासह देशभर शोककळा मालवली.

जागतिकीकरणाचे शिल्पकार

डॉ. मनमोहन सिंग हे भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्थेचे आधारस्तंभ होते, ९० च्या दशकात आर्थिक संकटात सापडलेल्या भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्थेला त्यांनी आर्थिक उदारीकरणाची जोड देत संकटातून बाहेर काढले. त्यांनी अथक प्रयत्नांमुळे जागतिकीकरणाच्या दिशेने भारताला चालना दिली. त्यांचे योगदान केवळ भारतापुरते मर्यादित नव्हते, तर ते जागतिक आर्थिक सुधारणांच्या पटलावर भारताचा ठसा उमटवणारे एक आदर्श नेते होते. १९९१ साली भारत आर्थिक संकटात सापडला होता. परकीय गंगाजळी संपल्याने देशावर आर्थिक दिवाळखोरीचे संकट होते. त्याच वेळी तत्कालीन पंतप्रधान पी. व्ही. नरसिंहराव यांनी डॉ. मनमोहन सिंग यांना अर्थमंत्री म्हणून जबाबदारी सोपवली. आपल्या आर्थिक धोरणांच्या माध्यमातून त्यांनी देशाच्या अर्थव्यवस्थेला स्थैर्य दिले.

महापरिनिर्वाण दिन 06/12/2024

महापरिनिर्वाण दिन हा डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचा स्मृतिदिन असून दरवर्षी ६ डिसेंबर रोजी साजरा केला जातो. डॉ. आंबेडकरांचे ६ डिसेंबर १९५६ रोजी दिल्ली येथे निधन झाले, ज्याला बौद्ध धर्मातील महापरिनिर्वाण ही संकल्पना जोडण्यात आली आहे. डॉ. आंबेडकर हे भारतीय संविधानाचे शिल्पकार, समाजसुधारक, न्यायशास्त्रज्ञ, अर्थतज्ज्ञ आणि भारतातील दलितांच्या हक्कांचे कट्टर समर्थक होते.

निधनाच्या काही आठवड्यांपूर्वी, १४ ऑक्टोबर १९५६ रोजी, त्यांनी नागपुरात लक्षावधी अनुयायांसह बौद्ध धर्म  स्वीकारला होता. बौद्ध अनुयायी त्यांना 'बोधिसत्त्व' मानतात.

'महापरिनिर्वाण' हा शब्द बौद्ध परंपरेतून प्रेरित आहे, जो निर्वाणानंतर अंतिम शांतीचे प्रतीक मानला जातो.

चैत्यभूमी स्तूपात ठेवलेल्या बाबासाहेबांच्या अस्थिकलशाला वंदन करण्यासाठी आणि त्यांच्या प्रतिमेला अभिवादन करण्यासाठी देशभरातून जवळपास २५ लाख भीम अनुयायी चैत्यभूमीवर बाबासाहेबांना आदरांजली अर्पण करतात.

महापरिनिर्वाण दिन फक्त डॉ. आंबेडकरांच्या पुण्यतिथीचे स्मरण नाही, तर त्यांच्या संघर्षपूर्ण जीवन आणि सामाजिक न्याय, समता, व बंधुत्वाच्या शिकवणींचे स्मरण करण्याचा दिवस आहे. भारतातील सामाजिक सुधारणा आणि समताधिष्ठित समाजाच्या निर्मितीसाठी त्यांचे योगदान प्रेरणादायी आहे.

• Three missile boats—INS Veer, INS Nipat, and INS Nirghat—along with Vidyut-class boats, launched a surprise assault.
• The attack resulted in the sinking of three Pakistani naval ships, including PNS Khaibar, and inflicted heavy casualties on Pakistani forces.
• Hundreds of Pakistani naval personnel were killed.
• The operation was led by Commodore Kasargod Pattana Shetty Gopal Rao, whose leadership was instrumental in achieving this historic victory.

वकिल दिन भारतात दरवर्षी ३ डिसेंबरला वकील समुदायाद्वारे साजरा केला जातो. हा दिवस भारताचे पहिले राष्ट्रपती आणि एक प्रतिष्ठित वकील डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद यांच्या जन्मदिनानिमित्त साजरा केला जातो. वकिल दिनाच्या निमित्ताने श्रमिक अधिकारी, श्रमिक प्रतिनिधी, सार्वजनिक आणि खाजगी क्षेत्रातील व्यवस्थापक, व्यवस्थापन प्रतिनिधी, आणि श्रम संबंध तज्ज्ञ एकत्र येऊन त्या दिवसातील महत्त्वाच्या विषयांवर राष्ट्रीय व प्रादेशिक वक्ते विचार मांडतात.

डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद (३ डिसेंबर १८८४ – २८ फेब्रुवारी १९६३)

डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद हे स्वतंत्र भारताचे पहिले राष्ट्रपती होते. ते एक स्वातंत्र्यसैनिक होते आणि काँग्रेस पक्षाचे नेते म्हणून भारतीय स्वातंत्र्यलढ्यात त्यांनी महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावली. त्यांनी १९४८ ते १९५० पर्यंत भारतीय प्रजासत्ताकाची संविधान सभा अध्यक्ष म्हणून संविधान तयार करण्यासाठी काम पाहिले. स्वातंत्र्य मिळाल्यानंतर त्यांनी स्वतंत्र भारताच्या पहिल्या सरकारमध्ये काही काळ केंद्रीय मंत्री म्हणूनही काम केले.

त्यांचा जीवनप्रवास

• जन्म: बिहारच्या सिवान जिल्ह्यातील झेरादेई येथे झाला.
